Excelling in all four categories—environmental, safety, employee relations and community relations—US Aggregates received a remarkable 15 Gold Excellence in Mining awards and a Silver award spread across our operations. Our unwavering focus on best practices has not only elevated industry standards but also ensured the well-being of our valued workforce.
Our consistent push for a zero-harm environment resulted in 11 of our plants receiving safety awards, distinguishing us as industry leaders in creating a culture that prioritizes the safety and health of our employees above all else—a fundamental aspect reflective of the ethos here at HC+M.
In a special highlight, the IMAA honored US Aggregates President, John Schmidt, with the prestigious Keystone Award. This accolade is a tribute to an individual’s exemplary leadership in advancing the aggregates industry, and it aligns with our purpose of doing meaningful work that builds a safer and sustainable world.
Our active participation in the Winter Workshop showcased US Aggregates’ thought leadership, with our experts leading discussions on critical industry topics such as women in leadership roles and sustainability efforts to reduce carbon footprints.
