Bituminous Materials & Supply (BMS) Sales Representative, Steve Rooney has been awarded Member of the Year by the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa (APAI).
Steve, joined BMS in November 2018 after a 23-year career as an asphalt contractor. He has been instrumental in managing all sales and customer accounts across our Tama and Des Moines, Iowa locations. In his acceptance speech, Steve expressed his gratitude: “The people at BMS truly make it an exceptional place to work. I consider myself fortunate to be surrounded by such a talented and committed team – from the supportive leadership in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the dedicated employees across the company.”
The recognition goes beyond Steve’s role at BMS. With over 14 years of dedicated service to APAI, Steve has served on committees, held board positions and contributed significantly to the association’s success. Witnessing many past recipients of the Member of the Year Award, Steve was humbled to be counted among those honored individuals.
