AAPT: A Century of Paving the Way

This year, Heritage Construction and Materials (HC+M) served as a Centennial Sponsor of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (AAPT) 100-year anniversary celebration in 2024. Our sponsorship was a testament to our commitment to the industry and the value we place on our partnership with AAPT. The event, held from September 9-12 at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL, featured centennial interviews, special publications, and an annual meeting with technical sessions and networking opportunities.

HC+M aligns strongly with AAPT through our mutual dedication to innovation, sustainability, and quality in asphalt paving. HC+M is not just a follower, but a leader in the industry, driving advancements through state-of-the-art technology and eco-friendly practices. Our commitment to AAPT’s high standards ensures top-tier quality in our projects, contributing to a safer and more sustainable future. Together, we are envisioning the future of asphalt technology and fostering professional growth.

Congratulations to our Heritage Research Group colleague Bill Pine for being elected as the 2024-2025 Board President! We eagerly anticipate his leadership and the new heights to which he will take the association in the coming year!

HC+M is committed to building essential infrastructure across the Midwest, offering innovative asphalt solutions, producing vital aggregates, and constructing highways and bridges. In partnership with the Heritage Research Group, we leverage cutting-edge technology to create sustainable products like the J-Band, which extend pavement life. Together, with the resources and talent at AAPT, we are dedicated to building a better, brighter future.
